Colin has traversed the globe and the ever-evolving landscape of journalism to emerge as a distinguished leader in the media industry. His tenure as Editor-in-Chief of the Chicago Tribune and Chief Content Officer at Tribune Publishing was marked by visionary leadership, steering the newsroom and company through digital transformation. Under his guidance, the Chicago Tribune produced award-winning journalism, culminating in a Pulitzer Prize for local reporting in 2022. As the Chief Operating Officer of StartupNation Media Group, he is at the forefront of digital publishing and events, dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and small businesses. Colin spent nearly 15 years on the Tribune’s foreign staff, including a stint as foreign editor and leading bureaus in Buenos Aires, Moscow, Mexico City, and Baghdad.
